Wild Orchid has been established since August 2003. I attended Oaklands College where I collected my NVQ2, but the most experience I am very thankful for is when I worked in various flower shops in Essex, Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire. Theres no better way to learn the skill and obtain the knowledge needed when working in the industry.

I have over 20 years of floristry experience yet Im still learning. The flowers that are widely available now are completely different to what there used to be back in the day. Styles and trends continually change yet my love for romance, blousy, textured and classic blooms never changes, it’s only the variety of flowers that do but they just get better and better.

Im now 41 years, which to be honest I love being in my 40’s. Ive learnt so much throughout my career and I want to learn more. Im as hungry and passionate for floral design, as I was when I started and probably more. Im very honest, extremely creative, love a challenge, kind, a floral explorer wanting to try new things. I thrive on inspiration having to write my ideas down as I think of them. Attention to details, the finish, the lines, my eyes are always spinning! Every display I make is made with care and attention and I hope my clients always see this too.
