Petalon has a weekly choice of 2 bouquets that go up on the website every Monday morning when we arrive back at the studio from the flower market.

Our team of florists spend the mornings going to market, making up all the bouquets, getting all the notes written out and wrapping all the bouquets ready for delivery at 12 noon when the riders arrive to pick up all the orders. We take same day orders until 12 noon, but once the riders have left then we can’t take any further orders for that day.

The bouquets are wrapped tightly in hessian to protect them on transit, they also have a small water source to see them through the day. They must be transferred to a fresh water source as soon as possible. All of our packaging is either biodegradable or recyclable.

The riders all have specific routes that are the most efficient for getting everyone’s flowers to them in time. For this reason we do not offer time slots. All deliveries are made between 12 and 6pm. When you order your flowers you will see that we have options for you to let us know what you would like us to do with the flowers if the recipient isn’t in, like ‘leave with a neighbour’, or ‘hide in the bin store’ etc, but we do not do re-deliveries. Though our riders will try their best to deliver if the address is incorrect or the recipient is in Mykonos for 2 weeks and our riders have already left on delivery then we can’t refund your order.

We cover a very large chunk of London, our delivery area can be found here. If your desired address is not listed then feel free to email and request it, but in most cases we can’t make exceptions.

Once delivered, our riders will email you with confirmation. With many addresses like large offices or communal buildings, we aren’t allowed to give the flowers direct to the recipient. If we have to leave in the postroom or give to the receptionist then we will always provide the name of who we gave the flowers to.

My son sent me a 42 pound bouquet for Mother’s Day from Petalton He lives in Australia so is not aware of the size or the condition of the flowers after 2 days . I sent 2 emails with photos of the dying stems ; no reply from Petalon how rude is that . The size you show on your web sight Is definitely not the size I received . Hate that my son paid with his hard earned money thinking he was sending me a stunning big fresh Bouquet which would live beyond 2 days, not the case .I am a person who have actually rang flower companies and complemented them how beautiful they were . Unfortunately this bouquet was not .

these are a minature bunch of flowers.I literally don’t have a vase small enough , two of the stems , lizzyanthus and statice are not even full stems. I’m stunned at the tiny size for £42 .
